The Art Spanish Steps Hotel features hip, modern design in a former college building in the heart of Rome. Boasting a minimalist design of gleaming white marble, the entrance corridor leads to a large lobby with a vaulted cobalt blue ceiling decorated in golden stars and lit by hanging lights reminiscent of white candy floss.
In contrast, the 46 guest rooms – spread over four floors – are traditional, decorated in relaxing neutral shades complemented by wenge parquet flooring and hand-stitched leather headboards. They are also well equipped with a selection of amenities, as you would expect from a hotel of this standard.
Guests can dine and enjoy a drink in the Bar/Lounge, which is part of an old 19th century chapel and has frescoed vaulted ceilings supported by columns, a marble altar and tall arched windows with cathedral-style stained glass. For relaxation, elsewhere in the property there’s also a fitness centre, sauna, steam bath and Swedish shower.
